Noah Adams (he/him)
Hi everyone! My name is Noah Adams and I am from Rochester, New York. Currently in my second year at Buffalo State University, I’m pursuing a major in Criminal Justice. I’m deeply grateful for the array of opportunities afforded by the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program, and I’m eagerly looking forward to meeting all of you this fall!
Cadence Aguilar (they/them)
Hi! My name is Cadence, and I am a Junior majoring in Social Work with a microcredential in Communication Strategies for the Deaf. On campus, I work in Classroom Tech Support for the IT Department, and I am a part of the Social Justice Book Club and Buffalo State eSports! I enjoy video games, watching shows, weightlifting, and many other miscellaneous hobbies depending on the time of year! I really look forward to meeting you and helping you in your first year at Buff State!
Anna Borrelli (they/he/she)
Hello everyone! My name is Anna, and I am a Junior majoring in Art & Design with a Concentration in Product Design. Additionally, I work at the Tech Hub, I'm a member of the Visual Arts Board, and I love attending weekly game nights at the Newman Center! Outside of school, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing and hanging out with friends! I am looking forward to meeting you and I cannot wait to help you succeed at Buffalo State!
Ceci Brooks (she/they)
Hello, my name is Ceci Brooks. I am a Psychology major with an Art Therapy minor and I'm so excited to be in my senior year. In my free time I love to do art, woodworking/refurbishing, hang out with my friends or my cat, and to go to Delaware park or spot coffee!
Aoife Clune (she/her)
My name is Aoife Clune, and I am a Senior Honors student at BSU! This will be my third year as an Honors Leader. I am a part of the combined pathways English Literature program, so I am earning my Bachelor’s and Master’s in English at the same time. I am also earning my Technical Writing Cert! Aside from my major, I am also the President of Sigma Delta Tau's Gamma Zeta Chapter, a National Panhellenic Sorority we have on campus. I love Buffalo State University and am so excited to mentor a new group of first-year Honors students. I hope you will love this campus as much as I do!

Hey y'all! My name is Michelle and I am a second-semester junior majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Human Biology. I'm a proud Afro-Caribbean woman mixed with a little southern charm. I am an Admissions Ambassador Leader, Treasurer of USG, a University Council Member and in the EOP program. I am super excited to meet you all and welcome you to Buffalo State this fall!

Hi mentees! My name is Chelsea, I am a senior pursing a degree in Speech Language Pathology with a minor in ASL. I enjoy being in nature, listening to music and going to events on campus with my friends. I can’t wait to meet you all this fall! I hope to give you a great first-year experience!

Hi Buff State Bengals! My name is Jamie Ervolina and I am a sophomore studying psychology! Outside of academics, I love to read books about history or murder mysteries, but at the end of the day, any genre is fine. I am super excited to be working with new Honors students as the Honors Program is full of opportunities to get internships, make new friends, and overall the best space for you to grow as a person. I hope you come to love the Honors Program just as much as I do!

Hey! My name is Xinozea and I am a returning Honors Leader. Currently in my junior year, my major(s) are Writing, Arts/Letters with a concentration in Dance, and Environmental Geography—yes, I'm a triple major. I'm also a creative in other ways, one being digital music. I look forward to connecting with you all within the upcoming academic year!
Matthew Fincel (he/him)
Hey Everyone! My name is Matthew and I’ll be helping you out this semester. I’m an English and Writing Major with Minors in Film Studies and TV & Film Arts. I was motivated to become involved in this program so I could help students going through the same challenges that I face in college. In my free time I enjoy playing board games, video games, reading Shakespeare, and recording audiobooks. Some of my favorite stories are A Christmas Carol, The Phantom of the Opera, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Asher Freudenhammer-Glass (they/them)
I am a dual degree student majoring in both Art and Art History with a minor in Chemistry. I am also heavily involved with the theatre department as Captain of FNL, an improv comedy club on campus, and various shows throughout the semester. I love to read, hike, and play Dungeons and Dragons. I am so excited for all the adventures this semester will bring and look forward to seeing everyone in the fall!

Being a part of the Honors Program has given me the opportunity to meet a ton of amazing people and take classes that are interesting to me. Hey everyone! I'm Bri. I am a Graphic Design major and I’m going to be a sophomore in Fall 2024. I love creating art in all forms whether it’s traditionally or digitally. I also have a strong passion for fashion, and to me every day is like a runway show. One interesting thing about me is that I grew up in Jamaica for 17 years. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and supporting you during this new journey :)

Hi! My name is Jenny, I am a returning Honors Leader! I am a senior and I'm majoring in English Education (7-12) with a minor in Diverse Literature! I absolutely adore yoga, music (I love Taylor Swift and The Marias), and writing poetry. I also love going to concerts and music festivals! I'm Mexican and moved to the U.S when I was around 7, Spanish was my first language. I am so excited to be an Honors Leader this year! Hello everyone! I'm Vincent Stoklosa, a sophomore at Buffalo State University. I'm pursuing a major in Social Studies Education (7-12) and I'm thrilled to say this will be my second year participating in the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program. This year marks my first year as an Honors Leader, and I couldn't be more excited! In addition to being involved, my hobbies are hiking, spending time with my dog, working out, as well as spending time with friends and family. I'm really looking forward to meeting and working with all of the new Honors students!

Hey y’all! I’m a Sophomore in the Television and Film Arts major as well as a new Honors Leader! I am also the music director for the campus FM radio station, WBNY. I love collecting records, attending concerts, making movies, playing with puppets, drinking water, and pursuing ridiculous adventures in my free time. I’ve lived in Buffalo my whole life and love exploring as well. I am excited to meet all of you and make you feel welcome as well as set you up for success as an Honors student!
