Amy M. McMillan, Ph.D.

Dr. Amy McMillan (she/her) joined Buffalo State in 2003 as a faculty in the Biology Department. Her research focus has been conservation genetics involving Common Loons and Hellbender salamanders, although she has worked with other species and in other areas as well. Dr. McMillan served as Interim Director of the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program from 2017-2019, when she took over as the Director. Dr. McMillan teaches the Senior Seminar in Honors.
