Buffalo State's honors programs are academically challenging opportunities for gifted and intellectually committed undergraduate students.
Honors students engage in special seminars and receive individual attention from dedicated, highly qualified faculty members.
Our student scholars enjoy an exhilarating academic journey of shared intellectual and creative pursuits, scholarship, and service learning, both in and outside of the classroom.
Honors regularly sponsors activities on and off campus exclusively for our honors students. In the Fall 2019 stay tuned for several events including:
3rd Annual Welcome Back BBQ - Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 4-6 pm in the Student Union Quad (rain location: Student Union Social Hall). We'll have excellent food, games, give-aways and fun!
Babel Literary Series - the Honors Program will sponsor the fall Babel Literary Series events at Kleinhans Music Hall. Wednesday, Oct. 16 we will listen to N. Scott Momaday, author of House Made of Dawn. Thursday, Nov. 14 we will listen to Valeria Luiselli, author of Lost Children Archives. The Honors Program will be reading these books in the fall.
We will post more activities here!
