Full-time students in the program are awarded more than half of tuition and fees a year through a combination of the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program Scholarship and a Presidential or Provost Scholarship. Many students are able to cover most of their direct expenses—tuition, room, and board—with a combination of scholarships and other financial aid.
The Campus Application Portal for Scholarships (CAPS) is Buffalo State’s scholarship software system.
Students sign in annually to complete a General Application and are auto-matched to scholarships that they immediately qualify for—no further action is required. To see other scholarships for consideration, select “Recommended” under “Opportunities,” additional action may be needed.
CAPS has various application cycles, check for posted deadline dates.
